Icon for Nightclub register

Trying to find a proper icon for the new web application I'm working on for a client actually lead me to create my own, since I couldn't find a suitable match.

Taking the classical (cheezy?) discoball as a background item and placing an alligator skin register in front will hopefully transfer the meaning - Nightclub Register/Search/Database. At least that's my intention.

What do you think?

Used Illustrator CS4 only for this. I know many uses Photoshop for creating icons and that's also a valid life choice... no really.. it is. However, I prefer to use Illustrator due to its vector capabilities, whenever I can. If it is not necassary, I too dabble with Photoshop when it comes to creating icons.
